For a New Source of Energy, Just Say 'Cheese'


Some cheese-making French monks have come up with an innovative way to reduce their electricity bills. The abbey in the Alpine region of Savoie uses byproducts of milk to create methane—enough to save nearly 7,000 euros each year.
