Senator Larry Craig had a wide stance that got him into trouble in an airport bathroom. Similarly, an Italian man found himself in court for what his lawyer called "compulsive, involuntary movement" that caused him to grab his crotch in public. As a result, crotch grabbing has been outlawed in Italy—even though the ritual is thought to bring good luck when you get the evil eye or pass by a hearse.
