In their ubiquitous commercials, the folks at 1-800-Mattress boasted that they omitted the last "s" from their phone number for savings. Now, a recent study shows that the letter can really be symbolic of sex. According to bedding company Leggett and Platt, most couples prefer innerspring mattress to their foam and air counterparts when it comes to pleasurable sex. The appeal of these mattresses, which are the most commonly sold on the market, is attributed to the "bounce back" caused by the coily springs inside.

For those who need more than just coil for their coitus, Leggett and Platt recently introduced Starry Night Sleep Technology—which prevents snoring and includes heating and cooling mechanisms. Though this new bed may put a spring in your sex life, it may take a while for your wallet to bounce back from the purchase, as Starry Nights range in cost from $20,000 to $50,000 each.
