Politics-to-English Dictionary Deciphers Doublespeak
Britain's Centre for Policy Studies is releasing a dictionary to decipher the doublespeak that politicians are known for, translating political jargon into plain English. Among the terms defined are "transformation" (in non-political English, meaning "no change") and "Let me finish," meaning "I will continue talking so that you cannot ask any more difficult questions."
